Research Interest

We are using cooperative effects in

  • Frustrated Lewis Pairs (FLP)
  • Multinuclear Complexes
  • Carbon–Heteroatom Bond Formations

to achieve unusual reactions, e.g. metal-free activation of molecular hydrogen, higher reactivity of metal-complexes in C–N bond formations, e.g. hydroamination and increased activity of palladium complexes through ligand effects, e.g. C–N and C–S cross coupling.
