On the strength of changing economical and ecological demands even established processes of chemical industry deserve further development and optimization. The required process intensification is in the focus of the working group lead by Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Warnecke and HD Dr. Dieter Bothe. This demands the theoretical understanding of underlying transport- and reaction processes on the basis of mathematic mechanistic modelling and numerical simulation validated by the essential experimental investigations.
