M. Sc. Agata Weronika Pomorska

I have studied chemistry at Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland (October 2003- June 2008). I have written my master thesis in the Department of Interfacial Phenomena by Prof. Bronisław Jańczuk and the topic of my master thesis was ‘A Study of surface properties of starch films by means of AFM and contact angle measurements’.

Since November 2008 I am a PhD student and the general subject of my work is ‘Self- locating Containers’. I work on adsorption processes of polyelectrolyte covered nanocontainers on various substrates (SAM modified gold and aluminum surfaces) by means of Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM). This work will help to introduce self- healing coatings into automotive industry.
