Dip Coater
In dip coating a substrate is dipped into a solution at a defined speed. The solution wets the surface of the substrate which is taken out at a defined speed. The liquid phase evaporates and the dissolved material remains as a thin film on the substrate. The film thickness can be adjusted by the extraction speed or the concentration of the solution. The quality of the film can be optimized by adjusting temperature, relative humidity, or the flow rate of the gas inside the sample chamber. The device is an ACEdip 2.0 from SolGel Way.
