Contrary to our subjective perception, we encounter chemicals at all times in our everyday lives. We use chemical products from morning to night, from everyday plastic objects, cleaning agents, cosmetics and medicines to components in high-tech products such as mobile phones and computers. Countless chemical reactions take place in our organism every second and without chemical research there would be no batteries, solar cells or light-emitting diodes.

In this context, the sustainable use of raw materials, energy and products plays a special role. Our study programme is divided into a three-year Bachelor's degree and a two-year Master's degree. The programme is extremely practice-oriented and designed as a fully-fledged chemistry degree with a focus on sustainability. As part of the programme, you will come into contact with the faculty's research activities at an early stage.
