Currently, Dr Ying Pan is working on advancing the field of sustainable energy production. Specifically, her work focuses on the development of innovative metal/carbon hybrids that hold promise for green fuel generation. At UPB, Dr. Ying Pan is working together with Jun. Prof. M. Nieves Lopez Salas, and closely collaborating with researchers from other universities inside and outside Germany. After her PhD, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Australian Carbon Materials Centre (A-CMC) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Before she joined UPB, she worked in industry for one and a half year. Dr. Ying Pan’s scientific journey encompasses not only academic and research settings, but also valuable experience gained from working in the dynamic and demanding environment of the industry. Over the course of her scientific career, Dr. Ying Pan has consistently directed her expertise and passion toward the world of materials science.
