Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectroscopy ICP-OES
Aqueous solutions are analyzed by means of ICP-OES. The sensitivity of the system is very high, and yet element-specific. After atomization of the solution, it enters the axial argon plasma, and the emitted light is detected by the CCD optical system, which is arranged in a Paschen-Runge setup.
