If you find the topics of our group interesting, feel free to approach us for your different projects along the studies. We offer regularly topics for Bachelor and Master Thesis, Project Based Course and/or Projektstudium. Although the specific topics will depend on the current research being developed in the group, we typically offer topics that involve one or several of the following techniques:

Bachelor level (Vertiefungs Praktikum-Technische Chemie and Bachelor Thesis):

• Deposition of thin films by magnetron sputtering.
• Characterization by techniques such as ellipsometry, IR spectroscopy and/or Raman.

Master level (Projektstudium, Project Based Course and Master Thesis):

• Deposition of thin films or surface modification by magnetron sputtering, evaporation, plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition, spin-coating.
• Characterization by techniques such as ellipsometry, IR spectroscopy, con-focal Raman spectroscopy, ambient pressure and standard X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy.
