International Students

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Paderborn has established exchange programs (e.g. Erasmus+) for students with many universities abroad. Besides these exchange programs, students from Paderborn can study at any other university as “Freemover” and international students from any other university are welcome in Paderborn as “Freemover”.

Incoming students, who would like to take courses in English can choose all our Lab Courses. In addition, they can take Research Lab Courses or do their BSc or MSc Theses in one of the research groups of our Department. For a Research Lab Course, a Bachelor or Master Thesis, the heads of the desired research groups should be contacted directly.

Incoming students, who would like to take English lectures will find several English chemistry lectures (page 20 in the pdf-file) to choose from in the newly established “Master Program Materials Science” course.

Incoming students, who would like to take German lectures will find here a list of the BSc and MSc programs. A detailed description of the lectures can be found under the page of the respective program. Semesters 1, 3, 5 are winter terms and semesters 2, 4, 6 are summer terms.
